This was a tasty appetizer. My guests enjoyed them.

These were really good with a nice glass of wine. Although they're not for everyone, I really enjoyed them alot.
I think the outcome really depends on the type of figs you buy, mission style figs work the best. And also the type of prosciutto, it should be from Italy and have a smokiness to it.

I had high hopes for this recipe but it just doesn't work. The figs are mushy, the cheese is squirting out and the Prosciutto is dry. The honey is okay but the spice just complicates a already messed up dish. I would suggest that it would be better by just eating it raw!

By the way, fresh figs are a summer time fruit. How can you be serving this with a Thanksgiving dinner.

    Happy cooking!

These were so simple to make and were absolutely delicious! I didn't make any adjustments to the recipe, it was perfect "as is".

These were EXTREMELY expensive to make and the flavor was bland. Could be figs are not in season around Thanksgiving??? No one ate more than one and some only swallowed to be polite. At the end it was a bet who would eat another. :(

I omitted the pumpkin pie spice completely as when I heard it in the ingredient list, it made my teeth melt. Without the spice, these are actually very good. They were also good with bleu cheese. SImple but robust flavors.

I made these as a Thanksgiving appetizer and they were the hit of the evening! Everyone loved them and I had to give the recipe away to 3 people today- and then was asked to make more for a party tomorrow. They were a huge hit!
