Just made this bread pudding recipe this past weekend and it was to die for. I love bread pudding desserts and this was so easy and so delicious. Perfect for the autumn months and holidays. I could not find a jar of Brandied Hard Sauce anywhere so I googled a recipe online and it's actually very easy to make. Just a stick of softened butter, 1.5 cups of sifted powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of brandy. Beat until fluffy..done. This sauce made this way, when served with the fresh out of the oven warm pudding, melts all over the pudding on it own and is so amazing. I just realized now that I forgot to add the maple extract to the hard sauce, but honestly, we didn't notice at all. Will definitely remember it next time though.

I've made a lot of the bread pudding recipes on foodnetwork.com, and this one by FAR surpasses them all. A more rich and delectable breat pudding I have not tasted.

I made a bread pudding where you had to actually cook the custard first took a long time and wasn't very good. This was so simple and quick and the seal of approval from the hubby is when he says "you can make this again". I will absolutely make this again.

This was great. I did not make the Brandied Hard Sauce - just put whipped cream on the top and it was great. I would make it again!!

I haven't made it yet - I just watched Sandra's setment on Food Network.
But this recipe looks SOOOO simple to make. I love bread pudding! I've never had maple-flavored, but it sounds yummy.
We're having a soup & dessert luncheon at my job next week, and I'm SO going to make this to take.
I've already printed the recipe and made up my shopping list.
I can't wait to make this!
