It was a big hit for Christmas Eve dinner. Not too sweet and very tasty. I made it in a baking dish instead of individual servings.

I made this for Thanksgiving. It was really easy to put together and looked beautiful and fancy. One of the tasters declared it "the best dessert I've ever had". And she knows desserts! It's true, the kids didn't dig the rum, but it could be left out for kids. It was totally delicious. I ate 3 that night. I'm rating it excellent on account of the ease of preparation for the product you get, and beauty in presentation, and taste.

This is a pleasant dessert that adults will probably like more than children as my daughter states. This can be made the night before for time-management convenience. I made it in an 8 1/2" by 8 1/2" glass baking dish rather than individual servings. 9X9 will work as well. My whole family liked this dessert, except my daughter.
