So easy to make and very delicious. A great side dish to take to a friends house for dinner.

C'mon folks, remain nice. I adored this salad, as did our 3 boys (8, 10, & 12, although it wasn't their first quinoa dish. IMPORTANT NOTE: please do rinse quinoa before cooking as another suggested. It will make a difference in the outcome. That being said- lovely salad, will make again.

First of all, my whole family, including my 2 9 & 11 yr old boys, love feta. Admittedly it has a strong flavor, but it's extremely popular, so I hardly think Sandra led anyone astray by including feta in this salad!

I couldn't find plain quinoa at the store, but found a blend box (like a Rice a Roni-type thing in the natural foods section, so I just used that. It had herbs in it, so I left out the herb mix she used, and it was fine. Plenty of flavor. My youngest son isn't much of a salad eater, alas, so I set aside some of the plain quinoa to serve him. Everyone else thought the salad was good. Not terrific, but very good! Would definitely make again.

This was absolutely awful. I had never had Quinoa before but I liked the idea of eating something healthy so I made the salad exactly as she said to. I am disappointed and embarrassed for trying to get my family to eat that. We all agreed that the Feta cheese smelled like vomit, I cant imagine who would eat that. Shame on Sandra for putting this garbage on a show and telling us it was good :(

I made this recipe as directed with the exception of using red quinoa, which we far prefer (rarely bitter.

It was alright but rather bland.

I added some sliced kalamata olives, a tbsp of lemon juice, a touch of olive oil, white wine vinegar, red onion, fresh chives and some salt- which made it a pretty tasty salad.

Want to eat more healthy but this sald tasted so drab that most of it went uneaten. Whoever said it was not fresh tasting hit the nail on the head.

I love quinoa. Quinoa must be rinsed at leased 3 changes of water before cooking or it will taste bitter. It has a coating that is bitter tasting

I loved the idea of using a healthy whole grain, but boy did this salad dissappoint us. The quinoa was lovely but the rest of the salad was dull and listless. It didn't have much taste and was definitely lacking. Since I like the quinoa, I'll look up another salad recipe calling for it and use that one instead.
