I made these and they turned out great! You can use any jam, I used strawberry and my husband loved them. It didn't take any time to make.

This is the best easiest recipe. These cake bars are to die for! You can use any kind of jam or jelly, if you don't like raspberry. I bet lemon curd would be good too. Loved them!

The Raspberry Bars were a flop. I followed the directions to a tee. Once they came out of the over, I look them coll completely before cutting them and they crumbled all over.

Just made these, and they are great, but I followed the recipe and then went back and watched the show a 2nd time, and she mixes a few things up. For instance, she adds the pecans after the second layer of dough in the recipe, but in the show she adds them before. Also, she uses one whole package of dough for the bottom layer in the show, and only 2/3rds in the recipe. Either way, they turned out great!

I used a very thin layer of cherry jam instead of rasberry and my whole family loved them. They were slightly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The toasted pecans added just the right amount of crunch. They were so easy and quick to make also. Thanks.

I used a little less lemon extract for these, because I wanted to taste the raspberry mostly. They are very very very good! Not to sweet at all. Next time I make these I'm going to dust them with powdered sugar. The nuts were a great addition. Thx for an easy, yummy recipe!

Great idea!! You can use any kind of jam. I didn't have raspberry on hand, so I used apricot. They were so good. I'll try the raspberry next.
