    I did not start eating asparagus until a few months ago. The only way I will eat them is roasted. I loved this recipe. I always add extras to the recipes so I added minced garlic and some shallots. Those additions simply made this recipe delicious!!!

    I followed one of the other reviewers suggestions and added minced garlic and shallots, sprinkled with lemon juice when I removed them from the oven. I'm not a big asparagus fan, but this was fantastic. Great taste combinations.......

    I used spanish black and green olives and used garlic oil and coarse black pepper with chili pepper. Next time I used scallion oil . Delicious. I read some reviews that said it was dry and stringy. I didn't find that at all. Of course I purchased fairly thick asparagus so they wouldn't be.

    I will make this a lot because it is delicious and I will probably change and add differents condiments each time.

    I completely forgot to add the lemon pepper seasoning - but it still turned out great! I never thought to roast asparagus before and now everyone loves it.
