I, like alot of others on here hosted Thanksgiving for the first time for my in-laws which included about 25 people! This recipe is awesome!...it will be used again I am sure!...I received such wonderful comments including..."wow!...that looks beautiful!"...and "this is seriously the best turkey I have ever had and I'm not just saying that!"..."I don't even like turkey but this is sooo good...I'm going back for more!"....and from a picky 5 year old who has a very discerning palatte...it was her favorite part!...Thanks for such a great recipe and for making my first thanksgiving hosting such a success!

I hosted my first Thanksgiving ever for my entire family -- this recipe knocked their socks off. Very moist and juicy and tons of juice for gravy! My Mom even said it was the best turkey she had ever had. Huge success! I would recommend this in a heartbeat

our turkey is usually a bit dry, but this had so much taste, and was so juicy... a must try. couldn't find poultry seasoning for some reason, so used mccormick's chicken seasoning, and we had those herbs in the house so just approximated and sprinkled inside the turkey instead of purchasing the packets. next year we're going to add a roux and make a gravy. my mom thought it had too much grease and tossed it but that's the best part, esp. with the veggies!!! mmm

This is a great recipe!!! My turkey turned out absolutely wonderful, my best one yet!! I even had a 20 pound turkey and used the same ingredient measurements that the recipe calls for, and it turned out great. The whole family couldn't stop talking about how it was the best turkey that they had ever had. The only thing I did different was cover the turkey with aluminum foil until the last 30 minutes of cooking. I will use this recipe again next year!!

I coudn't decide between this recipe and another one which called for a poultry injection. I made the wrong choice. The skin of the bird was not crispy at all, and the meat was dry. For all the seasoning that went into it, it was still rather bland. Will definitely try something different next time. Sorry Sandra, this bird should have flown the coop!

This was my first time cooking Thanksgiving dinner for my parents and my in-laws! I was so nervous about cooking the turkey! This turkey came out great! It was really easy to make, probably took us about a half hour of prep time! It was really easy to find all of the ingredients, we found them at our local grocery store. I was surprised to see that other people are having a hard time finding the Knorr sauce mix. If you google "knorr garlic herb" you can find a picture of what the package looks like, maybe that can help some of you find it. My family thought that the Turkey was great! I will definately stick with this recipe in the future, i'm sure the more I make it the better it will turn out! Thanks Sandra Lee for another great one!
