    I love tomato basil soup and am always trying recipes from different cooks. This one is original and has a wonderful taste.

    Had my mother over and she is an excellent "from scratch" cook and she REALLY liked it. I Loved it and will make it again. Found the roasted tomatoes in the organic section of my store.....I almost didn't find them.

    we love Trader Joe's roasted red pepper tomato soup---I added a half jar of roasted red peppers (no juice some extra garlic --some fresh parsley---was delicious--a real keeper!!!!

    I have never cared for Tomato Soup. I tried this recipe and loved it. I used organic fire roasted tomatoes and half and half instead of cream. Could have used a little more salt. Will definitely make again.

    It really didn't have any real taste. Like cream of pink soup. Needs some serious help.

    This soup does not have much flavor. I doubled the amount of garlic and basil which helped and added a ton of salt and pepper. It ended up being okay but not something I would make very often.
