These were delicious! They were time consuming but well worth the effort. I couldn't find round wrappers, but the square ones worked out fine after a little trial and error. I made a load of them then flash froze them and stored them in freezer bags. My son said they're as good as the ones he gets at one of the very popular chain restaurants.

this recipe looks promising, haven't made them yet but, my boyfriend and i LOVE pot stickers....here's my question...i recently got a deep fryer for Christmas, and haven't used it before and how long would you keep the pot stickers in to fry since i seen someone comment that the steam didn't work well for them..thanks again. :

I didn't think these were that time consuming to make. I thought they needed a little bit of a binding agent though, so I added about 1/4 package of cream cheese (I was using 3 chicken breasts and they came out amazing! My husband and my two year old both loved them, and since I couldn't find round won ton wrappers I used the square ones and had no problems. Will most definitely be making these again and next time I think I'll throw in some other leftovers like corn or peas.

This recipe is GREAT!! I loved the pot stickers and everyone who tried them liked them as well. They were a little time consuming to make, but oh so good in the end. The flash steaming is healthy and quick and turned out great. I will make these over and over again because the pot stickers are addictive!

I made the chicken especially FOR the recipe, and served the potstickers with the ginger rice. While It was a pretty good amount of work, they tasted great! I think next time I'll deep fry the wontons, as the flash steaming didn't work so well for me. Overall, a great recipe!

This was a hit at the house. Fair amount of work but well enjoyed at the end.
