I love her show and her presentations. They are so inspirational and easy to do. This particular recipe, and trust me, although I consider myself a gourmet cook, I never tried to do fry chicken. However, I saved the recipe and I decided to do it today with chicken flavor rice and broccoli. I have to say, it is fantastic!!! I did however make more chicken than the recipe called for, so I had to make additional dry mixture. I also added fresh ground pepper, basil flakes and garlic powder with the Italian Seasoning mixture. PERFECT... Horaaahhhhh! I try to cook a new recipe every day, but I run out of the ingredients. lol...

I am a novice cook to say the least and when i look for recipes i like to find ones that are A: Easy, B: Quick to prepare, and C: I can use what I have in my house already (no running to the store to get last minute ingredients I loved this recipe it surprised me and my husband. It tastes really good and is very easy and cheap (I love that I got a whole chicken for the first recipe and this and it cost me the same a two breasts! I just tasted my fried chicken and thought I didnt pay enough attention and missed the salt and pepper step but I just re-read it and it seems she did too. Easy enough fix for me!

I make LOTS of Sandra's recipes but I wasn't too thrilled with the way this one turned out. It didn't seem to fry very well and the flavors were pretty bland.
