I plan to use this recipe as a framework for tonight's supper. Good job, Sandra. I like the idea that you have, and I shall use some flavors of my own, too. I have two school girls this year. My daughter is in college, and her daughter is in 2nd grade.

I liked it. It was almost like having chicken noodle soup. Next time I would leave out the carrots and broccoli and just do the meat and the green onions. I would simmer the chicken broth longer. I added pepper to the broth, which was nice.

As my daughter called this, A FAIL MOM, this was just not good. The chicken stock needed more depth with something, it just tasted like canned chicken stock, ick! The wontons were 'moist' but only from floating in the tasteless broth, not from any delicious-ness from the ingredients used inside the wrappers. Wonton soup from a chinese restaurant is cheap, cheap, cheap, so 'splurge' and buy it from them. This recipe just isn't worth it.
