I was excited to try this recipe out. It was a huge disappointment to me but my wife luckily enjoyed it. She actually ate all the leftovers for lunch for a whole week. Not going to do this one again.

This is the best recipe I've ever cooked from Food Network all together. Every single member of my family loved it and could not get enough. I will say it took much longer than the recipe said-2 hours for me in total, from start to finish, but maybe the 2nd time around will be quicker. This is a definite addition to our menu, and can't wait to make it when we have guests. Mashed potatoes are a must; the gravy is to die for!

This recipe is pretty good-- something like a cross between mini-meatloaves and salisbury steak. I used the Montreal steak seasoning and thought it was good. Taste your gravy before you add the patties back in-- mine needed more salt. The gravy was thinner than I would have liked. Make sure to FINELY chop your onions!

This is a very delicious recipe. Thank You Sandra. I made homemade mashed potatoes and used the extra gravy on top. Yummy!

The meat was really good, the gravy was alittle bland but when you combine them it was very tasty. Didn't do the mushrooms because hubby doesn't like them but we will try it again w/ shrooms to see it enhances the gravy flavor. I agree with other suggestions don't add any extract salt.

this a good an easy recipe! but for my taste it was a little bit under season....so i added peppers, garlic and Adobo Goya (seasoning to the patties and it was perfect!

FYI. Look up "Chopped steak and Mushroom Onion Gravy" by the Neely's...also an excellent salisbury steak recipe; uses a few spices already in your pantry, fresh parsley, etc..no need to buy premixed seasonings.

Absolutely delicious! Followed recipe exactly the way she made hers except for a little less salt. When I made it again I doubled the recipe and froze half for another day. Defrosted and had it last night. It freezes beautifully. Love you Sandra. Keep those delicious recipes coming!
