    My pancakes turned out not so tasty. We really did not like the rose water. The perfuminess was not pleasant. I don't think we will try this again. They also turned out not very crispy.

    They were crispy on the outside and delish on the inside. We loved the flavor the salmon and scallions gave them. The rose added a background flavor that was interesting in a very good way too. Excellent recipe!

    This recipe just didn't work for me. The pancake mix just seemd to mess it all up. Yuk.

    One of my neighbors thought this would be a good addition to our monthly neighborhood meeting and potluck. They were very sweet, too sweet for the smoked fish accompaniment, and while I couldn't taste the rosewater I caught the scent of it and found it jarring and unpleasant. Most of the neighbors agreed except for one teenager who literally ate them with his mouth open. Yes, this is all a matter of personal taste, but it's still my opinion that these were awful.

    Sorry to report but the rose water-smoked salmon combination tuned our stomaches. Needless to say, we'll not be making this again.
