Eight out of 8 guests wanted seconds! This is easy to prepare and tastes awesome! Also great with peaches.

I'd leave the sour cream out next time, because that added a weird flavor and heavy texture. Other than that, I thought it was good. Just make sure to drench those biscuits in the cinnamon sugar!

The biscuits were awful, as was the sour cream mixed into Cool Whip.

I agree that this is one of her worst recipes. I plan to try this on chunks of angel food cake -- sans the sour cream (which was awful.

We've tried many of Sandra's desserts and found that some are a bit too sweet and artificial tasting, so this one looked good. We had it earlier this evening and it was just plain bad. We rinsed off the berries and ate them with a bit of vanilla yogurt instead.

I am not averse to using canned biscuits for shortcake, but I used the ones specified in the recipe, Pillsbury Grands Southern Style, and they were VERY salty. On the package it says one biscuit has almost 600 mg of sodium! Definitely too salty to use as a dessert.

Real sour cream and Cool Whip mixed together made a topping that had a very offputting texture and flavor. Better to use real whipped cream and sour cream, or leave out the sour cream entirely if you are going to use Cool Whip.

I think it was the sour cream mixed with the Cool Whip. Somewhat off-putting in terms of texture.
