OMG!!!! I really didn't think that I was going to like this. I made it because we were looking at Semi-Homecooking and my husband being the picky eater that he is said, "Hmm that actually looks like something that I would try." So off to the store I went. I cut the recipe in half because we were the only ones eating it. I gave him a bigger portion of the sauteed bananas than myself and quickly regretted doing that after I tasted it. Delicious doesn't even describe it...I will be making this again!

Wow this was yummy. We had purchased cooking bananas by accident and decided to try this receipe. We cooked the bananas longer and since we did not have rum either, we used wiskey. To be safe, we removed the bananas from the stove before adding the wiskey and then cooked them for a little longer until soft and served over ice cream. Will definitely try again!

Delish! I served it over buttercrunch ice cream and it was great! I've made it many times since and it's always a hit!

Very good. Both my wife and I loved it, and it was very simple. I left out the cookies, and I was out of rum so I used Southern Comfort.

This was a disaster recipe. The results were not what I had hoped for.

maybe they weren't ripe enough. I would omit the cookie crumbles.

I read the other reviews before I made this recipe but decided I wanted to try it anyway because it looked and sounded so good. I'm glad I did because it was AWESOME! I prepared it as directed and it came out great... not as sweet as you might think because the melted ice cream dilutes some of the sweetness (I didn't serve it with the cookie on the side. We thought it was great and give it high marks! It was a quick and elegant way to end the evening meal!
