Waste of time and money. These things look unappetizing and taste nothing like truffles. I am sure you can find better... truffles at a trailer park bake sale. Read more

    Never set up

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
Not even sure how anyone got these into their mouths. Mine never would set up, I put them into the fridge for 1.5 hours,... still smooshy, put them into the freezer for 1 hour still smooshy, and I even left them out all night hoping they might dry out, still smooshy. Taste wasn't bad, but it was a big waste of time and now I have a big mess to clean up. Read more

You know that sinking feeling you get when you put a piece of fudge in your mouth and it just tastes like canned frosting?

Rated: 1 stars out of 5
Yeah. These are that. Use Ina Garten's recipe. They're quick, authentic, and rustic looking.

Sandra Lee "Special"--It is What It Is.

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
I think the problem that many people have with this and other Sandra recipes is that they are not the quality you would get... from other Food TV hosts. Sandra isn't really a true chef, and her "angle" is cutting corners. So the folks that like her recipe don't mind something that tastes and looks like they cut corners". Experienced and more passionate cooks really aren't impressed with chocolate frosting ruffles that kind of look rough. I guess to sum it up--it is what it is--like it or not.Read more
