Any five year old can eat frosting out of a can... stick to making cosmos, honey.

Horrible - can't imagine anyone liking these. How did it get 2 stars? I would give no stars if I could. This blob of frosting in no way resembles a truffle!

I made these just to try them out and give to my friend's kids. They didn't even want to touch them, and my buddy's wife got mad at me for trying to gross their kids out. Apparently they thought I made gag pastries too look like something else (animal leavings. When I assured them that it was food, the older kid (Bryan took one, and took a bite and told me that it was still gross.

I guess I got what I deserved for being too lazy to make them fudge like I promised. Learned my lesson, and don't do shortcuts anymore.

I have still never found a good Sandra recipe. Seriously. I usually like chocolate frosting-- on cupcakes. But this was disgustingly sweet. Not even my 7-year-old sister who is willing to eat sugar cubes liked this. This was beyond gross. Not to mention horribly unhealthy. This would be the perfect recipe if I wanted to give my boyfriend a heart attack.

OK. I am marginally skilled with the cooking. I bought a cookie recipe magazine. My cookies and what not do not turn looking like that. Give me a television show.

How how how does this horrible woman have a show on your network? This is not a cooking show. You guys are about two more "store bought chocolate frosting" recipes away from jumping the shark.

Someone told me to look this recipe up and I didn't believe them. Sure enough, here's doctored-up store-bought frosting! You forgot to add the 1/2 gallon of Vodka to wash it down with Sandra!

This SOUNDS like an absolute abomination; a concoction that a little child might put together when mommy wasn't supervising him/her in the kitchen. Chocolate truffles are not very difficult to make. Look up Alton Brown's chocolate truffle recipe if you want to make something good, it is not difficult at all despite the "intermediate" rating of the recipe, and leave the cake frosting where it belongs - in the supermarket.
