sidenote: You have to like canned frosting to think you might like this recipe : I used to dip my finger in the stuff, so I liked it!

Ew! Just rolling something chocolate tasting into a ball doesn't make it a truffle. This is just balls of overly-sugared icing. I don't understand why one can't just make real truffles. They're not difficult, time consuming, or expensive. Just pour heated cream over chopped chocolate, cool, scoop into balls and roll in cocoa (or chopped nuts, or cover with more melted chocolate, etc..
This recipe is gross and baffling.

The flavor is good but the frosting is way too soft to work with easily, even after refrigerating to set first.
