Sesame oil, sherry, BBQ sauce, honey and teriyaki does not a bland sauce make for my taste buds anyway. Sometimes I make drumettes with JUST BBQ sauce. How is BBQ bland? I am confused : You could baste chicken with this and it would be flavorful. I marinated mine for five minutes. Just LOVED these.

But they are incredibly tasteless. They need to marinate for a lot longer to make them edible. IMO this is a totally forgettable recipe.

These rival my best recipe for drumettes. I'm stil deciding which is best. These are great if you marinade them overnight too. But the taste shines through either way. Hint: Ovens and grills have different temps, so just use your common sense to make sure these are completely cooked before serving them.

They are just heavenly little drumettes! Subtly seasoned and succulent. Done to a turn -- who likes overcooked chicken, anyway? Personally, I believe recipes like these don't come along all the time.

Too bland. Plus they were decidedly undercooked.

Overly sweet but not very flavorful otherwise. Also needed to be cooked a bit longer.

No flavor to this one. Probably needed to adjust the recipe.
