    This appetizer is simple enough to make, but lacks in flavor and appeal. The taste that comes through is definitely the olive spread. Not much can be said for the other ingredients as far as contributing to the overall flavor goes. Rather disappointing, but you'll enjoy it if you are an olive addict.

    Rubbery pancakes were just not the right way to serve expensive smoked salmon. I have to say that no one liked these at all.

    My pancakes didn't turn out anywhere near as dark, but the real problem was the flavor. The olives were way too much and took away from the rest. I'm going back to my old way of serving smoked salmon.

    I don't think everyone is actually making these recipes ...but oh well! I did, and these were very tasty. I like smoothies, but I don't recommend using these ingredients for one as another "reviwer" suggested!
