This recipe is so gross LOOKING and soooooooooo delicious. The only changes I make is that I only use a package of fresh sliced mushrooms, no canned. I put 1/2 in the meatloaf and 1/2 on top. I also can't find the flavor shake & bake they recommend so I just get whatever my store has. Lastly, I can never find potatoes o'brien, so I get the hash browns.
Make this!!!!

I first made this about a year ago..as some of the reviews say it was not much to look at but my family really enjoyed it. It is very flavorful and I did not find it at all too salty.

I made this yesterday for my family, easy to make takes a little time but well worth it. The meatloaf was moist and just melts in your mouth. Family also seemed to love it!

I would have to agree with some other reviewers that this meatloaf has a lot of flavor. Reminded me of beef stroganoff in a meatloaf form. I used frozen O'Brien potatoes and they ended up too mushy at the bottom of the slow cooker. My teenage boys were turned off by the look of it--it just looked like a big sloppy mess, BUT my husband and I loved the flavors. I think I would take the recommendation of other reviewers and bake it in the oven, separate from the potatoes and omit the mushrooms. They just didn't add anything and were overcooked.

I would just like to say, I made this for my family years ago, and my brother still doesn't trust anything I put on the table. It was salty and gloppy, with strange flavors that didn't really mix well.

This is an awsome recipe, and very flaovorful. I did make a few changes. I like alot of gravy so I doubled the sauce, and I added garlic, salt and red pepper flakes. I also reduced the amount of mushrooms.I also cooked it in the oven for 90 minutes on 350.

We made this months ago and were just discussing the worst recipe we've ever made. This is it. It looked like cat puke and was so salty. This is not meatloaf. Don't make this ever.

This was a fairly easy recipe. My family frowned when I said I was making meatloaf for dinner. But once they tried it they couldn't get enough. Great recipe.

Excellant dish. I started it early for a lunch and invited company over. They were as impressed as I was.
