The ingredients are pre-packaged, high in sodium and high in fat. Cooking a meatloaf all day is expensive as far as electric and not economical or eco-friendly. We all have high bills, so why raise them making a meatloaf all day long. I am set in my ways and support ourselves instead of electric co.

this has to be the worst tasteless meat loaf i have ever had.
Very dissappointed with Sandra lee, really cant believe she even has this recipe on her show.it was a waste of $40.00 which is what it cost to make.
Hopefully the racoons will eat it.

Very easy to make when time is important, great crockpot meal after a day at work. Even my picky son who hates meatloaf he loves this new meatloaf recipe and I would recommend this to my friends.

Very expensive greasy mess, full of sodium and processed foods. Making a traditional meatloaf is much easier and less expensive.

This recipe was ok, but a little too involved. There were too many flavors and way to much going on in this for a simple meatloaf and with the potatoes, it ended up more like a stew. I liked the idea of a crockpot meatloaf, however, and might try it again some other time with simpler ingredients. Great idea in theory, but a dissapointment in application.

I don't ever make a recipe unless I read the reviews first....I trust the viewers, and it gives me helpful tips. This meatloaf recipe is a keeper for all time! The texture of the meatloaf was delicate and easy to slice. All of the ingredients made a delightful gravy. This recipe also tasted similiar to a version of "salisbury steak". I had company for dinner for a "comfort dinner", and he is a "chef"....he loved it. For whatever it's worth: I heard that you are not supposed to put cold food into a hot crock pot or visa versa. I always get my ingredients at room temp first before putting into the pot. I think the one viewer who had raw meatloaf may have a thermostate problem on her crockpot....that happens. Anyway, I will make this recipe many times again....thank you Sandra...you did it again!!

but if you have a family favorite, I'd use your own recipe. Cooking meatloaf in the crockpot is a really good method, and I've done it many times with my own recipe using the time and temp that Sandra said. I've NEVER had a raw meatloaf, so who knows what went wrong with the other poster. My husband said Sandra's recipe was ok, but he liked mine better. I did like her recipe, not too crazy about the potatoes, though.

Very Easy, very tasty.
I added about 1/3 cup of diced red onions in the meat loaf mixture & a little garlic powder, and some pepper.
Some minor substitutions: used the store brand 98% Fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup and the store brand "regular flavor" Shake-n-bake.
The dish turned out great! Very moist & flavorful. I had no problem with the meat cooking all the way through. Will definitely make this one again.

This receipt is a great meat dish. It is not a traditional meatloaf. I was tempted to add Ketchup as I made up the loaf, but was really glad I did not. The meatloaf and potatoes are enhanced by the gravy from the soups. A great cold weather crock pot meal. I cooked mine 2 hours on high, then 5 hours on low. It was perfect.
