It was my husband's idea to make these for July 4th. Everyone loved it. I don't eat seafood at all (grosses me out, so I'll have to just take everyone's word for it. I have to say though, it was very easy to make.

I didn't have any cornmeal to soak the clams in so I soaked them in cornstarch water. I am pretty sure this accounted for the terrible taste, but I'm not sure.

I live in a small town in the midwest and have very limited resources. I made this recipe using canned clams and my microwave and it was just superb! Highly recommended!! Goes to show that you don't always have to use fancy-pants ingredients.
