I made this wreath at Thanksgiving (my kids helped and I found this is a great dish to keep the kids busy while I was busy making other dishes. Usually at least one of my kids wants to "help" while i want everyone to just get out of the kitchen. I rolled out the dough and then let the kids basically do the rest with my supervision. This is not a gourmet dish but it was pretty and the kids were very proud. I never got a chance to taste it but the kids loved it. Everyone knows what pillsbury biscuits taste like and dipped in sugar/cinnamon how can they taste bad? I did skip the maple syrup and instead made a simple vanilla glaze.

I used the reduced fat, whole wheat pillsbury grands and it still turned out delicious! I didn't use the glaze though, I just dusted the top w/powdered sugar and a little cinn and that was good enough--my whole family ate it up!

This recipe is wonderful and super easy. I did make one change. Instead of the maple syrup and confectioner's sugar, I use the sugar and a little milk. Overall, it was a big hit and I have made it a few times with different shape cookie cutters to match my mood.
