I watched Sandra Lee this morning and agree that she used only 1/3 cup of half and half in her recipe. Can anyone tell us what you used when you made it???

I just watched that show also and I wrote down 1/3 cup of half and half and 1 egg - I think the difference is in the amount of servings - she only made 24 on the show and this recipe is for 36. Let's hope that is the difference.

i just watched Sandra make these and wasn't paying full attention but could swear she only used 1/3 cup of half and half for the filling. The recipe says 1 1/3 cups. Can someone set me straight?

I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner by a doctor's family that keeps a kosher kitchen. He is also an accomplished cook, so I wanted to contribute a different, impressive appetizer for the occasion. His entire family and other guests loved the onion tartlets and extended an invitation for Thanksgiving dinner every year if I would bring onion tartlets!

I included this in my Thanksgiving menu. What a response! Even my six year old sous chef loved them!

I made this recipe in the regular muffin pan, I used yellow onions, heavy cream and left out the Spice Islands seasoning, and I sprayed the pan before putting the dough in. People fought over the last on at the Thanksgiving table. It's an easy recipe, great appetizer. Definitly will have to make that one again.

I just made these and while they are quite tastey and not too difficult I had oodles extra of the liquid filling leftover. There was no way to pour that in there without it overflowing all over my pan. Maybe it would be better with larger muffin pan so you can get more onion and more cheese etc. I couldn't really taste anything other than the buttery-ness and the seasoning. It was good, I would just have liked the filling to have worked out better.

I do not like this woman or anything she cooks really. When I was watching the thanksgiving show, I thought I'd gives these a try. They were excellent and went in a flash. Everyone DID love them.
