My brother will not eat anything with onions visible on it. I had him try the tartlet before letting him know what it was and he could not beleive it! Trust me when I tell you to double up the recipe, they were a hit at my party!

The filling was very salty and tasted like a chip dip. Not many people liked them.

Everyone enjoyed the Tartlets. They were really tasty. However, they did stick to the pan. Next time I will spray or grease the muffin pan before baking the crust.Ann, Burbank Ca.

After reading some of the other reviews I made a couple of changes. I used the regular onion soup mix (Lipton rather than the golden onion. Additionally, I used just a pinch of the seasonings. They went like hotcakes!

These were a big hit. I adjusted the seasonings and omitted the spice islands. I also used puff pastry instead pie crust, and the puff pastry was delicious-light and flaky!

I read the reviews and watched the show during a repeat and there are discrepencies from the show and the recipe. I made the recipe with the corrections and it was a big hit at my Thanksgiving dinner party.

Okay I don't know what the others are talking about, but these things are great. Maybe you have to like the taste of sweet onions to appreciate this recipe! I did not add the fine herbs, just the onions and onion soup mix (whole package - 1 envelope. It's a great recipe!
