I searched tempura fried bananas and found this recipe! For anyone doubting that tempura goes well with bananas, you just must try this recipe. I didn't get the chance to make the sauce but the bananas are a great idea. I didn't have any pumpkin spice, so I just added a little cinnamon and a little sugar to the standard tempura recipe. Sooo good. I spent the next hour scrounging about my fridge to find other delicious random little bites to fry. Good stuff. I still hope to fry the bananas at some point.

This recipe is soooo yummy Sandra! I didn't have the ingredients to make the sauce so I just ate them with the powdered sugar and they tasted sooo good!!! My mother-in-law can make good fried plantains, but this is a great dessert!! Thanks for a great recipe SANDRA!!!

Super way to eat green tea-which is great for cleansing. Unique and different.

I used to go to a restaurant that served this type of dish. I liked it very much. When I opened the tempura mix I thought it was a little strange to use for bananas but I figured I'd try it. I thought 1 tbs pumpkin pie spice was way too miuch and on second thought left it out all together. The cayenne made a nice kick. Well, the whole thing got ruined by the green tea sauce stuff. It took me all day to get that taste out of my mouth. Next time I will just make the bananas and serve with caramel sauce or something. Nice idea but didn't like the sauce.
