Tried it today....thought it was awesome! So tired of the Cuban-get a life!

This cake was awsome! Fast to make and inexpensive I will make it often my family loved it! I doubled it and the milk mixture was plenty to soak the cake

This recipe was good, but not what I expected. It looked much gooey-er and more saturate in the milk mixture when Sandra made it. When I made it, however, much of the milk seemed to settle on top around the edges instead of soaking in. This really just was like a little bit sweeter, little bit heavier, little bit stickier yellow cake. I jazzed up the whipped cream with some coconut rum which was good with the toasted coconut! Not sure if I'll make it again. Maybe I'll make more milk mixture for the top if I do.

i love this cake., and not only that is very easy to do and is very affordabale.

This cake is suppose to be drenched in the milk mixture.
