    This was a fun cake to make for our newlywed friends. It was their welcome home wedding cake from their island beach destination wedding! It was great to see them cut and smash into each other's faces. Very memorable! I think I would have left the vanilla icing Vanila and not used the banana creme extract.

    if i could give it zero stars i would. the fake banana taste was disgusting. this is the last time i will ever make one of her recipes. this is the fourth or fifth time i've made one of her recipes and every time they have been absolutely disgusting.

    I had no idea that imitation banana flavoring was that bad. The cake tasted terrible.

    We found the cake extremely difficult to serve. Each serving looked awful and the taste was pretty bad too. It's a pretty centerpiece but I don't think it was meant to be eaten.
