Just made these as an appetizer for a big family dinner. I cranked up the cream cheese spread by using Paula Deen's cheese dip recipe. I only had a little bit of plain cream cheese so I spread it out by adding mayonnaise, shredded cheese, and black pepper, salt and dried parsley. I used fresh spinach instead of lettuce and it was yummy! The best thing about it is you don't have to cook anything so it is perfect for a hot day!

Yum! These taste just like the ones many supermarkets sell...I guess b/c they are! Great for lunch. Thanks for sharing!

I made this sandwich without the spread and it was still wonderful! I would recommend this for home-made lunches and picnics!

I made these for my 4-year-old daughter's birthday party. Everyone loved them and we make them at home all the time now. I also added shredded cheese and sometimes I use deli ham for the turkey. So yummy!

The garden vegetable cream cheese makes these really yummy! We added cheese and nixed the carrot idea. Next time I think I will add tomatoes!

We are fried food family, I know its not good for us. But this recipe went with flying colors with my family. I'am going to serve it at my thanksgiving dinner for the rest of the family.

These are very good and can be made many different ways. I like to add some provolone cheese for extra taste. Those little ones can always use more protein and calcium. I also prefer the baby spinach for extra nutrients.

Anything that gets my 3-year-old to eat veggies is a plus in my book! I use baby spinach instead of lettuce for more nutritional value. Quick, easy, yummy, and veggie-filled! :

Very easy to make and were very tasty. They were a colorful addition to my spread of party appetizers. This simple recipe was one of the most asked about. Would be great with soups too.
