So easy and delicious. Also very adjustable- for example, I don't like artichoke so I left those out and substituted for other vegetables. We loved this and look forward to making it again soon!

I love this pizza! I left off the olive oil and olives, added some basil in the sauce, used whole wheat dough, and piquillo peppers instead of red peppers (they were out at the store!...YUM! I also put the spinach, artichokes, and peppers on the pizza and popped it back in the oven when the crust was cooked (right after I turned the oven off to heat everything through. The flavors were clean and crisp and light...I'll be making this pizza over and over and over!

I admit it. Up to now, Sandra's creations have not inspired me. I'm more of a "from scratch" kind of cook. This episode, though, made me watch. And I am so happy I did.

Last night I prepared the Verdura Pizza as an appetizer. I followed the directions with only two minor changes, using freshly roasted red pepppers (smoky taste and kalamata olives. Oh, my. Perfection.

I highly recommend this as an appetizer or a light meal. Add some chicken to the veggie topping if you can't do a meal without meat.

    Just so good.

This is really a one-dish meal, easy, and looks gorgeous. I didn't have goat cheese, so I substituted blue cheese, and used slightly less cheese than the recipe calls for, as blue cheese tends to be more intense in flavor than goat cheese. I can see using this recipe with many alternative ingredients after the pizza comes out of the oven. I will certainly try it again. You don't need to use this only for a romantic date. A family of four or more are likely to have plenty to eat.
