Sooooo yucky! Way too much sesame oil; too much onion soup in meat mixture. Too many ingredients going on in this soup! Expensive to make after buying all that stuff for a wonton soup. You could buy better tasting take out for less money. What an extreme disappointment all the way around....

I never liked Oriental food until I started making Sandra's recipes. I used to hate eating in Oriental Restaurants because you never quite knew what you were eating or how it was made. And all those sauces just confused me. But I watched her make these great recipes on her show and they really didn't look anything like what I was served in the Oriental Restaurant so I decided to try them myself. And I am so gald I did! None of Sandra's recipes taste anything like the food at the Oriental Restaurant!! Plus, I know what is in them and they don't have complicated sauces. THANKS SANDRA LEE!!

I am not sure what this is, but it doesn't taste anything like wonton soup from a Chinese place. It required a lot of ingredients and work making the wontons (which were a bit raw and gross and ended up not being very good.

    The wontons were particularly nauseating.

It's nothing at all like chinese restaurant wonton soup. Which is ok. Or would be ok if it tasted good. But this soup totally misses the mark. The broth tasted funny and there was way too much going on in the soup. Too many mismatched ingredients. Frankly, I'd rather just open a can of Campbells and be done with it than bother with this overcomplicated disappointing recipe again.

I never thought theirs was that great until I tried this recipe. Now I'll order take-out all the time!

A bunch of stuff floating in canned broth. A VERY BAD rendition of wonton soup, I am afraid.

The one with premade wontons was just as good and much easier. Whoever suggested it should have his own Semi-Homemade show! :
