These brownies have the right combination of cake-y and chewy texture. For a Christmas treat, I double the recipe in a 9x13 pan, then frost it with chocolate frosting (store bought. I buy some candy canes, put them in a ziploc bag and crush them into small chunks. Sprinkle on top of the frosted brownies before the frosting dries. Cut into small squares and these are delicious Christmas gifts!

I made a double batch of these for a work lunch and everyone ate them without complaint. But honestly I've made brownies that were richer and moister. Next time I'll stick to one of my tried and true recipes.

For simple brownies these work. I thought the flavor was good-very similar to boxed brownies actually. I baked mine for 25mins and they were very moist, nice and soft. (if you want a more cake-like brownie, cook for 30mins

I won't be making this one again. My son enjoyed them, but I think that the brownie mixs at the store make better brownies then this recipe.

My 3 yr. old son and I made these - very easy! With no trans fat (any thing in a box to bake has trans fat and we picked out the chocolate to put in it. We threw in a handful of chocolate chips to make them extra chocolately. My husband said they were just like at a bakery - just better!
