This barbecue rub is EXCELLENT and I use it on everything - whether or not it is grilled.

I slightly modified this recipe to match my preferred cooking method--grilling.

I used the rub exactly as listed (it was FABULOUS, but instead of baking in the oven, I set up a little rig on my gas grill.

This get-up is cheesy and possibly dangerous, so use caution. :

Use indirect heat by only lighting burners on one side of your grill. Soak some mesquite chips, line them in foil, and stick them over the lit burners. Also, take a little 8"x8" aluminum pan, and fill it with equal parts water and hard apple cider. Put that over the lit burners as well. Cook your ribs with indirect heat, rotating every 20 minutes or so, for about three hours. Before they were even done, the bones were literally falling out of the meat. My friends RAVED. :

Also, the paprika and brown sugar make the ribs the most delightful color.

I really recommend trying this recipe. You'll love it.

I've made this recipe several times and they ALWAYS turn out great! I make a few adjustments to this recipe though and use St. Louis style ribs because I think it's more tender. I also finish the ribs on the grill instead of the oven. The ribs are so tender and full of flavor! Highly recommend!

I have been using this recipe for about 2-years. On my gas Weber on low they come out GREAT. Family and freinds always want me to make them in the summer. Also the cole slaw with it is woundful.

really easy to make, especially if you mix the rubs and sauce the day before. perfect mix of spice and sweet.

The rub sticks and the final stage with sauce and honey makes them shine!
