This was such a tasty and easy recipe. The peaches I used were less ripe than I thought was ideal, so I used almost the full cup of sugar called for with the fruit and like previous reviewers I added 2 more cups of peaches. I added another pinch of salt to the dough mixture to counteract the sweetness and the result was delicious.

Some reviewers say they used half the amount of sugar and this was perfect for them. I enjoy a good sweet peach cobbler so I followed the recipe using the full 2 cups and found that amount of sugar just right for my sweet tooth. Many reviewers claim not enough peaches and they are absolutely right! The recipe calls for 4 cups of fresh sliced peaches (about 6 medium peaches and that was not nearly enough peaches in my opinion as they shrink down as they cook. I would recommend 6 cups of peaches minimum to 8 cups of peaches for peach lovers like myself. I will double up to 8 cups of fresh sliced peaches next time ; . I sprinkled some cinnamon on the top before cooking. I would cut the cooking time down to 30 to 35 minutes instead of the suggested 40 to 45 minutes as it was a little past golden brown at the 40 minute mark in my oven. #1 suggestion, add more peaches. Yummy! :

It was tasty, but I modified this recipe and I'm happy I did. To the peach mix I used brown sugar, added vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brandy. I usually use bourbon to bake, but I was out. For the future I'd add more peaches and less butter.

Very good, easily halved, just bake in smaller dish. Only took 30 minutes in the oven. Will save to my recipe file!

This was delicious and so easy to make. Based on some of the other reviews I read, I omitted the sugar from the peach mixture too and it worked out great.

Easy is right. I melt the butter right in the pan while the oven preheats and I get the peaches ready. I have yet to add any sugar to the peaches - they were super ripe and super sweet, so just added cinnamon and fresh grated nutmeg. It is also easy to halve the recipe when you are only making it for two people and don't want to have it around to pig out on!

Excellent, don't need to change a thing. Comes out perfect every time. It's ridiculously simple and easy and needs to be a staple in every home. It only requires a few ingredients that I always have on hand. Never again will I attempt to make peach cobbler with nasty hard crust that most recipes have.
