Made this dish for dinner tonight and it turned out pretty good. The only issue was the pistou was a bit oily - suggest using maybe 1/4 cup of olive oil at most. Otherwise, I highly recommend this dish!

My family doesnt eat salmon, but they love this...it is a household classic...especially the vivid green sauce and beautiful homegrown tomatoes that are going on it tonight.

I'm just about to make this tonite, but on the direction to make pistou is to add 1/2 cup water but don't see it on the ingredients. I will go ahead and do them anyways. Surprise nobody says anything on the comments and reviews.

The prep time is longer than stated, about an hour and a half, but well worth it. I grow herbs, and had everything on hand except for marjoram, so I used some Italian parsley instead. I didn't bother to heat the pistou since it was going on hot fish, and it was great! I did a quick saute of some spinach and garlic in the same skillet that the tomatoes and fish had been cooked in, and served with some boiled new potatoes. It was a total HIT!

WOW!!! This dish was amazing even my 4 year old boy ate it. I did tweek the dish a little. I doubled the amount of herbs to get a good coating on both sides of the fillets and I offered lemon wedges on the dinner table.

I was looking for something new and easy to do with salmon. This recipe was better than I expected! The prep time was a little much, but the end result was awesome! And my 6 year old loved it!
