I can't pretend to explain why, but that little bit of cream does something wonderful.
Some recipe notes: I made 1/2 pounders, about 4" diam. In a pan on medium heat, these took about 7 minutes a side to reach a nice medium stage.

By far the best burger I ever made. I added worcester sauce and used half and half instead of the heavy cream. Truly moist and yummy. My husband grilled the burger and it came out well done - which I prefer medium rare. The burger was NOT dry at all - will definitely eat a well done burger again if it turned out like this. I'll keep this secret recipe to myself when hosting!!!

very juicy, easy to prepare, not many ingredients. you dont even need ketchup with these, they are that good.
