This recipe was delicious! I didn't add the yogurt, but I did put in a 1/2 stick of butter. The lemon really makes all of the flavors come out. I know I will be making this again.

It could be that I made this soup incorrectly, but my family did not like it at all. The texture was like Cream of Wheat which was not a hit. I tried the soup without any yogurt, but finally added heavy cream to it to see if I could make the soup more appealing to the family and it didn't work.

Very good, easy to make, and healthy. Also used sweet potato with it and added 3/4 cup half and half in the pot at the end instead of yogurt. Just be careful not to be heavy handed with the lemon juice, it comes through strongly

Delicious and easy to make. It made for a nice vegetarian option for a soup party my girlfriend and I hosted this past weekend. It was so popular that we had very little leftover. The only variation we made to the recipe is that we skipped the yogurt and instead set aside fresh parmesan and croutons for our guests to top it with. Using a vegetable peeler to slice the cheese made for a very pretty garnish to this tasty soup.

Just finished making this soup. I didn't realize I used the last of my bay leafs so, aside from adding extra garlic, I made the rest of the recipe as directed. The soup is delicious and the addition of fresh lemon juice gives it a real zing! Healthy and easy to make, what more could a girl ask for?

I love this soup. I used 2 c. chicken broth and 1/2 C. half and half. Be sure to add the lemon, that is what makes this soup pop. I also added a dash of cayenne pepper. Wonderful and so healthy.

I hate it when all the reviews are good then one bad one shows up. I'm going to be the bad one this time. I went by the recipe and it was bad. Maybe the vegetable stock I got wasn't good. I finally added cheddar cheese, parm cheese, and half and half and it was OK but not great.

It was an absolute "bottom of an empty pot" winner! Everyone in my family loved it, and had second servings. The only modification I made to the original recipe was, adding four tablespoons of heavy whipping cream after blending. I made this recipe twice now, and both times it disappeared.

I was a little skeptical but this soup was AWESOME!!! I added some shredded Monterey Jack cheese and it was even better!! Tastes like restaurant quality!! My daughter loved it and she doesn't even like broccoli!!
