Its my second year in college and I dont get to visit home much. I was craving this cake because my grandma makes it a lot. Its my first time baking from scratch, but this cake tured out better than my grandma's cake. My roomate and I ate the whole cake in 2 days. Definetly worth trying. Oh and an extra not ive made this cake twice and i only end up with a 2 layer cake

Followed this recipe to the T and it was very good. Needed only about 27 minutes in my gas oven, but the outcome was very good... Super simple, easy instructions, GREAT cream cheese icing.

i made cupcakes. i thought it was ok. very greasy. i think the recipe called for too much oil. ehhh...

The recipe and description made it look so promising--but the taste was far from satisfying, and the texture and flavor seemed a little ungainly. It will really help to make at least twice the amount the recipe needs, because when I made it each layer was an inch thick, even after it baked.

Honestly, I have become FAMOUS at my workplace or this recipe. According to many people this is the best red velvet cake they have ever eaten. It is so easy to put together. YOU MUST MAKE THIS CAKE !!!!!!!!!

I made this for my family and it lasted about 5 hours, barely! It's so soft and moist, but still durable enough to hold together! Even my grandma loved it! If a Grandma like a desert, it's obviously DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, who wouldn't agree with that statement?!
