try adding a few spoonfuls of parmesan cheese to the egg and water mixture. recipe comes out so great, I try to make it in bulk so I don't have to cook it so often and my family always finishes it on me. every time.

We really like the addition of tomatoes to this recipe. We use veggi broth instead of water for a little more flavor, and use it every year for Chinese New Year meals.

The soup was pretty dull tasting. At the supermarket you can buy instant egg drop soups where you just add water and an egg or two that taste so much better. If you do decide to make the soup, I suggest adding something to spice it up some. Maybe garlic or ginger. Also adding something like vegetable broth instead of water might help. I also added tabasco to make it a little spicy.
