    We marinated chicken breasts in the pear dressing that we made for ~3 hours then grilled it and put it on top. It came out great and made a complete meal.

    Making the pear dressing ahead of time helps a lot.

    I've served this salad at serveral dinner parties and everytime it's a hit. I've never heard people rave over salad before, but with the Asian pear salad, it's a given.

    I do not like blue cheese so I used gorgonzola instead, it was perfect! My guests couldn't get enough and either could I. The dressing takes awhile to make, but it's worth it.

    This was too much trouble for what it is worth...the nuts turned out bad and the pear dressing was too much to deal with...I've had much better pear salads that have been easier to make...
