    This rice was ok. Honestly, I would have been just as happy with regular rice and skip the cost of saffron. Would definitely try again.

    I love Indian dishes and I paired this with chicken curry & pita and was glad to have the extra curry sauce to cover the rice. Maybe it's just not a flavor I like for rice, but my husband didn't like it either and I made it exactly as stated in the recipe.

    It was actually really quite a great dish. It is not the most flavorful recipe,not something I would eat by itself, but then again I don't think you're supposed to. I think it's a side dish and considering that, anymore flavor would have been overbearing when paired with an entree. I think what is stopping me from giving it 5 stars has more to do with my taste for this kind of dish than anything about this particular recipe.

    As i do most of the cooking for my wife and i .i tried this dish over a year ago ,and have made it alot since one thing i do is add half cup chopped dried dates. awesome !
