This was probably one of the more complicated recipes I've made but it was well worth the effort. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to prepare and don't shorten the marinating time, overnight is best.

This was a lengthy process. . . far more than the estimated 30 minutes. BUT it was worth it. It was served it over orzo.

Too much work for the result, which was just so so. I have to say, the sugared onions were fabulous though, I'll use those in other things.

I added more carrots for my carrot loving husband, though. Also added more mushrooms, at two different times during the cooking, for added texture complexity and flavor.

Excellent Recipe, but I want to see the person who can do all of this prep in 30 minutes. To do a complete meal with this as the main course, I needed help! Very rewarding in the end though.

The recipe was delicious---I cook for groups all the time and was aware of needing to make additional time for preperation---but the prep time was way off---if you add all the time that you have to do the various steps---it really needs to be changed
