On its own this recipe was very average, if not down right bland. But after a few adjustments it turned into a keeper. Made the recipe as directed, but on the side sauteed some shrimp scampi style. (1 lb of shrimp sauteed in olive oil and butter with about 5 cloves of minced garlic and some salt. I put the shrimp with the drippings on the cavatelli, deglazed the bits that were left in the pan with some white wine and poured it over the top with everything else. Added about a tbsp. of unsalted butter and mixed with a little bit of parmesan on top. Outrageous!!!!

This is a quick and easy recipe... I've made it with broccoli from our garden, which of course makes it taste better... my kids like broccoli, so we have it once a month

I had the cavatelli in the freezer with broccoli and thought about this type of dish. This was really easy and very tasty. My 2 and 1/2 year old loved it too!

I hate broccoli and made this only because it is my boyfriend's favorite vegetable, but it turned out to be absolutely amazing. This is the first time in a long while I've tasted something that caught my attention this much. Excellent!

This was very easy to make and tasted great. My whole family really liked it including the 8 and 5 year old. I added shrimp in at the very end and we have lots left over for another yummy meal. I also added extra red pepper flakes for an added kick.
