This recipe is easy and it taste like it cooked all day. I use the wines that didn't make the cut instead of vinegar. I also put all the ingredients in the pan and then strain at the end, including the garlic with the skins. Wonderful over mashed potatoes.

My husband was skeptical when I first mentioned this to him, but he's a believer now. This is very good.

Delicious Sara! In Italy, we have a dish called Pollo al Aceto (usually with balsamic &/or wine which is similar yet different. And, each region in Italy does it a little different.
    Also try infused vinegars/vinaigrettes,
    homemeade or purchased.

This was great!! I substituted Balsamic as well and it was just delicious. When I first added the vinegar to deglaze I was a *little* scared as the smell of the vinegar was really really overpowering and I wasnt sure how the dish would taste but once it cooked down with the other ingredients it was perfect! Will make again! Thanks FN for another great recipe!

This chicken in Vinegar was the best thing I have ever tasted! I made it for my parents for their anniversary, and they agree that the chicken was the best!

It was excellent! Of course, I'm one of those *&#@ cooks who never makes a recipe exactly as printed - (aromatic license! so I substituted Balsamic vinegar. This made the dish a bit sweet but still so full-flavored. I'll try red-wine vinegar next time... I was truly fabulous!
