Great recipe!!! Did take two suggestions made before 1 used Jimmy Dean's Sage Sausage instead of the Italian and 2 Made it the day before Thanksgiving up to the point of putting in the oven. On Thanksgiving day, brought to room tempature and baked according to instructions. This made for a great time saver on the actual day.

This was my first year making this recipe and I will diffidently be making next year. My husband is not a fan of stuffing but loved this one. Very easy to make, so no worries for you first timers making Thanksgiving or Christmas. Your guest will be very impressed. Try to make the last hour before your turkey is done so it will stay moist.

I make this every year (always a double or triple batch for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it's great each time. I like my stuffing wet vice dry so I add a bit more chicken stock and also double the sausage. Store bought bread cubes and cornbread stuffing is all you need.

I've made this recipe several years now. I always have to make a triple batch because friends and relatives who have tried it before always beg me for my leftovers if they can't make it to dinner!

I have been making this stuffing for years now. It is a HUGE hit everywhere I take it. Most people nowadays only know StoveTop, and its sad. When they taste this most faint at how great it is!

I highly reccomend Trying it foryourself. Its Easy and well worth it!

This is probably the stuffing that I will make from now on. Very flavorful. I like a more dry stuffing and this was pretty moist. I made it the night before and right before putting in into the oven to bake the next day I added a splash more of chicken stock and I think that did the trick. My husband and friends loved it!

I followed the recipe all the way but used Jimmy Dean Sage sausage rather than Italian sausage and I have to say, it was wonderful. It was the only dish that was completely gone at the end of the night. This recipe will be with me until I am dead and buried.

We made this for the first time this year. It was great...everyone liked it. We used a mix of cornbread and good wheat bread, and we increased the amount of broth and added dried cranberries.
