This was good. Easy to do, but not outstanding. I had to add a lot more liquid to make anywhere near moist enough.

My family loved this. We doubled the recipe for Thanksgiving and still had no leftovers with only 6 adults and 5 children!!

This is a wonderful stuffing. I always make a sausge and apple stuffing which everyone loves, but I wanted it to be a bit differnt this year. WOW! Everyone loved it! This recipe will be around for Thanksgivings to come. I did use cornbread and seasoned stuffing instead of the croutons, but everything else was the same.

Tried this recipe this Thanksgiving. Replaced the italian sausage by breakfast sausage, added poultry seasoning, raisins and chopped pecans and walnuts. It was excellent, and the best is that I made it all the day before then mixed in the croutons and broth the day of and baked it. Also it was not soggy and mushy at all, just like I like it. Worth trying.
