Made this for a party and it just didn't look good. I suppose running the beans through the food processor would have made the whole thing more attractive, but as it was, people thought it was chopped fish on toast--eew. Flavors were good though.

I have made this quite a few times for quests and each time it was completely devoured and everyone loved it. I made the recipe once with a can of Cannellini Beans (washed as I didn't have the time to soak the dried beans overnight and it was equally as good!
But you cannot replace the Truffle Oil - that is the true flavor - and Truffle Oil is not cheap but a little goes a long way and worth the purchase!
