These beans are outstanding! I made them for Father's Day, along with the BBQ Chicken that goes with this dish (I also used ribs. My husband and son couldn't get enough of them, as well as the chicken and ribs. The dinner was a big hit at my house!

I loved his cooking style, enjoyed his traditional spices and menthods. I loved the idea of the sweetness he added to the beans. I loved his BBQed ribbs as well.

This was a big hit at my sons Eagle Ceremony. I made my own peach pie filling because the cans are so expensive. The spices you put into it do have a spicy heat so you can adjust if need be, but everybody like the heat. Fabulous!

They were good but not my favorite. The rub was incredible. Have used it over and over again.

This is great, and I am not a big baked bean fan. When I coudln't find peach pie filling, I substituted apple pie filling once, and it was still good! I also add a little bit of garlic when I am sauteeing the soffrito.
