The bars were good but i have had better, They have a cakey consistency but lack the yummy softness that comes from the addition of the cream cheese. They didn't 'wow' me.

I made this recipe for a party and it was a huge hit! I did add some extra melted semi-sweet chocolate to the base recipe however because it tasted a little thin. That addition perfected it. I highly recommend.

This was pretty good. I was surprised at the taste. Its mostly a chocolate brownie with a cream cheese frosting on top. I used lowfat cream cheese (which I had never used for anything before. It ended up being pretty good. I'm a big chocaholic so the brownie part was a bit mild-tasting since the melted chocolate is diluted with water. Other than that, the cream cheese topping was a bit tart, which offset the sweetness of the brownie. I'd definitely recommend trying this recipe for a nice party or get-together, as it makes for a beautiful presentation, especially with the topped chocolate chips (which I really think make this dish!. You could also try generously adding white chocolate chips too.
